If you want to be brave you’re going to have to let go of the idea that you’re fragile.
That you need safety to perform, to act, to create. That you must first be treated with some particular form of special care before you can build or make something.
You must first stop demanding or hoping that the world meet your particular needs before you step up.
Glass is made of silica. Sand is made of silica. Concrete is made of silica.
Only one of these can you use as a foundation for building.
Don’t picture yourself as glass about to be shattered. Or sand shifting this way and that. If it’s important to you, make it concrete. Solid. Strong. Permanent.
