My rules for helping:

  1. Go where you’re invited.
  2. Do what you’re asked to do.
  3. It ain’t help if they didn’t ask.
  4. Listen twice. Help once.

I wish I could call these commandments. It’s okay to let people know what you can do – to let them know what’s available. But when they say “you know what we really need is ….” Believe them. So very important.
