I’m Your Fan

If you’re actually working – risking what you have to do what you can, I’m your fan. You don’t have to have gotten it all right. You don’t have to be a celebrity performer. A social media sensation. I want to be on your team if you still believe in getting stuff done.

I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve been told two things:

1. You should write a book.
2. You should run for office.

My work is my book. For decades when faced with a choice between writing/speaking more or doing more, doing more always won.

I can see why at some point people decide to write, teach, speak. Delivery is difficult. Delivery is not a theory, not an idea. It’s a idea made real, manifested through work. Delivery is risky. You have to work with a team. You have to find resources and deploy them well. You must see it through whether it rains for days or not.

And the proof is in the value to those you serve.
